Help Promote the *Journey Toward Wisdom* E-Book

Wendy Jehanara Tremayne

You’re Invited . . .

Friends,

Though I am just now introducing myself to you, it is my hope that we’ll soon know one another well. We have a common wish – wisdom in our time. To this end, Seven Pillars House of Wisdom has created a multimedia workbook titled, The Seven Pillars: Journey Toward Wisdom, that I signed on to promote far and wide.

Like the process taught in the chapters of Julia Cameron’s popular book, The Artist’s Way, Journey Towards Wisdom provides a way to discover how we may be purposeful and active in the world today. Some of you may remember how much fun it was to fill in the questions at the end of each chapter in Julia’s book.  I answered them year after year until the pages tattered. Life improved, obstacles moved, creativity flowed. In retrospect it is easy to see that the creativity her book helped many tap had always been there. In the same way, wisdom waits for an unveiling. It is wisdom’s day now. In today’s precarious and fast-changing world the tools for growth are dynamic. Journey Toward Wisdom is composed of text, video, music, and art. Before contemplating the questions at the end of its chapters, we listen in on conversations, acquaint ourselves with ideas through video, and enjoy the image, music and sound of artists, scholars, activists, and visionaries who are cultivating wisdom today. They help guide our journey.

This letter is an invitation. Will you participate in the promotion of this important work? You may be saying, “What do I know about promoting anything?” My reply is, “wisdom is no ordinary thing.” Wisdom links us to a wonder-world where you already know everything you need to know. Should you join the caravan, I can promise: I won’t ask for time you can’t spare, you’ll have fun, you will learn new things, and you may catch a glimpse of something very special, your own wisdom—proof that together we have succeeded.

Here are a few things we may be doing together; please sign up even if you don’t know how. You will have help. Watch videos of inspiring people * share postcards in your community * activate contemplative conversations among friends * host a one-time book club gathering * post images and inspiring quotes online * share your views in a forum * write a review * and more. You may learn to tweet and hashtag too! Won’t your friends be impressed?

These are good times, so come along and lend a hand so that wisdom may have its day. Without you something will be missing from the campaign that I have created to give this work its start.

Since I’ve asked you to set out on an adventure, you might want to know more about me. Have a dip right in the chapter titled Wisdom, in my book, The Good Life Lab. If you’ve just got to know more, Google me.

Click here to say, “Yes!” and join us in this adventure, and I will be in touch soon.

With sincere thanks,

Wendy Jehanara Tremayne
