An Introductory Alchemy Workshop
With Practicing Alchemist Kevin Townley
Saturday, May 2, 2009, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Kalliopeia Foundation, San Rafael, California
This one-day workshop will examine the philosophy and practice of the alchemists. Participants will explore how all things in existence participate in three fundamental alchemical principles: Mercury, Sulfur, and Salt. These names represent a symbolic language that represents form, quality, and life -- principles that all known things possess.
The workshop will investigate these principles and how they manifest in the four kingdoms of nature, mineral, vegetable, animal, and human. Also, a further examination of the cycles of time will be explored and how knowledge of these cycles can lead to a deeper understanding of the world we live in.
There is room for 25 participants in this workshop. Tuition for the day is $50 and because of limited space it is recommended that all those interested sign up by Friday, April 24th. Participation is first come, first serve.
To register online, please visit our ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM. Registration is also available via phone by calling Kalliopeia Foundation, 415-482-1043, ext. 104.
This program is co-sponsored by Kalliopeia Foundation.
