  1. Insight

These cards are intended as meditation aids. Many of them were painted after meditation experiences that resulted in useful insights or refreshing states. The directions on the backs of the cards are intended only as suggestions and are often only loosely related to my experiences. They were written later. Feel free to find your own relationship with the cards.

  2. Being

    I surround myself
    with pure white light.
    I experience myself
    as simply "being"

    Breathing in ... breathing out.

    Nothing special.

  3. Dissolving

    I feel myself dissolve.

  4. Brokenness

I go into the experience of
    feeling fractured or broken.

    I make friends with it.

    Like everything, it will pass.

  5. Wholeness

To be more special than others
    makes separation.
    I surrender into the whole.
    I include everyone.

  6. Flowering

    I feel the bliss
    of my own flowering.

  7. Connection

    I feel my central channel
    from the bottom up.

    I feel the connection
    between “earth” and “heaven”.

    I radiate the energy out
    in the form of love.

  8. Stillness

    I am still.

  9. Love

    I allow feelings
    for those I love
    to warm my being.

  10. Awareness

I become the energy around me.
    I stay anchored in awareness.

  11. Fear

As ego dies there is sometimes
    fear and a simultaneous loss
    of identity and individuation.

    I breathe through it.

  12. Imagination

    I imagine myself
    to be a tree,
    roots reaching down
    for nourishment,
    branches reaching up
    for inspiration.

  13. Suffering

    I make friends
    with my suffering.

    Gently tame it.

    Compassion,
    not pity
    for self and others.

  14. Identity

    I loosen my identities.
    If uncertainty follows,
    I sooth it with equanimity.

  15. Invitation

    I invite light
    to wash my whole being.

  16. Body

    I travel the magical
    pathways of the body.

  17. Earth

    I feel myself as
    part of the earth.
    I allow my heart
    to be spacious,
    free,
    beautiful.

  18. Light

    I know myself as light—
    infinitely radiant in space.

  19. Presence

    I train myself to stay
    present and aware
    in all circumstances.

  20. Softness

    I soften.

  21. Peace

    I sit in stillness, peace,
    and beauty.

  22. Learn
